'PM should think on realising his ideas'

 Renowned scientist Dr C N R Rao has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should think about the possibilities of realising his several ideas.

“No doubt, Modi has been speaking of  hundreds of ideas. But apart from advisors, the prime minister also needs people who can translate ideas into action. A task force is required for this purpose,” Prof Rao said here Tuesday. He was in the town to take part in the car festival of Gavimutt.

The Bharata Rathna awardee said that science gets poor allocation of funds in the country and it would be of great help if such meagre funds are at least released on time.

“Nano technology has made great contributions to medical science. Skin grafting could be done with this technology, particularly for treating cancer patients and burns.”

Prof Rao said that several experiments were being held on converting hydrogen as a fuel. It has all the potential of becoming an efficient fuel in the coming days, he added.
