On a day when the Supreme Court recalled a notice issued to the state’s Governor Jyoti Prasad Rajkhowa regarding the Arunachal Pradesh constitutional crisis that the apex court has been hearing, the governor on Monday refuted allegations that have been doing around that he has been politically inclined towards the BJP.

“I am a non-political person and never used Raj Bhawan as the office of political parties and have no inclination towards any political parties. I am working under the ambit of the Constitution. I am nobody’s agent” Rajkhowa told reporter in state capital Itanagar on Monday.

He said that he was amused to see how media branded him a ‘RSS man’. “I have neither been a man with the BJP nor the RSS. I have never been to their offices. I have never done any meeting with them” the governor claimed.

He also claimed that media has aggravated the crisis by some wrong reportage. He also said that he is working under the constitutional framework.

Rajkhowa claimed that he never wrote about cow slaughter to the Centre, he only reported the Mithun sacrifice in front of the main gate of Raj Bhawan a fortnight earlier.
