<p>The Karnataka State Medical Lab Technologists’ Association has organised the Karnataka State 3rd Medical Laboratory Technicians conference in the City on February 14.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Advanced technologies and methods used in conducting blood tests, expert talks on need for giving reports of blood tests conducted to detect dengue, malaria, chikungunya, tuberculosis and HIV, employment of persons with no skills that a lab technician ought to have and challenges faced by technicians in public and private sectors, are among the topics that would be discussed.<br /><br />The conference would be held at the Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bengaluru, and would be inaugurated by Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers, H N Ananth Kumar.</p>
