<p> After tasting success in Karnataka, footwear major Liberty Group Executive Director Adarsh Gupta, in his personal capacity, is all set to launch retail venture Hell10 Brands from Karnataka.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The retail outlets will be franchisee-run, offering 10 categories of products including footwear, apparel, leather bags, wellness and personal care products on an 800 sq feet area. Liberty’s share will be 20-25 per cent, which is offering a complete range for the whole family.<br /><br />“Hundreds of multi-brand outlets (MBOs) all across India, which are at the verge of closure will be converted into Hell10 MBOs,” Gupta told Deccan Herald.<br /><br />“The company intends to completely refurbish the existing outlets to the highest standards with unique display systems. We will provide simple solution for managing their inventory with lower investments,” Gupta added.<br /><br />Besides providing complete know-how to run the Hello10 stores, the company provides necessary proprietary training to the next generation of the family, Gupta said.<br />Gupta was in the city to attend a B2B meeting, where he unveiled a model store for top 100 retailers in Karnataka.<br /><br />“We will be able to convert few of them immediately and will be opening 25 stores in the first quarter (April-June). About 50 stores in the next two quarters,” Gupta said.<br /><br />“We are beginning with Karnataka, and then we will take this concept to other states. By the next financial year, we will have 200-250 stores in five states. After Bengaluru, we are eyeing Mysuru, Mangaluru, Manipal, and among others,” Gupta said.<br /><br />In 1996, Liberty sponsored the Miss World contest in Bengaluru, which gave it a platform to become a household name in the State. “Our annual sales were Rs 2-3 crore in 1996. Today, our annual sales in Karnataka is Rs 400 crore. Surprisingly, Karnataka is the biggest market for the Liberty Group with 12-14 per cent,” Gupta added.<br /><br /></p>
