Jain Varsity dominate

Hosts Jain University dominated the proceedings on th penultimate day of the 17th All-India inter-collegiate sports fest, VIE, winning as many as five titles here on Tuesday

.

In the men’s section, the hosts outsmarted Christ University to win the tennis crown 2-0. There was no stopping Sagar Manjanna and Siddharth Gowda as the two Jain students got past their opponents to win the title.

Sagar got the better of Ishan Kakkar 8-2, while Siddharth held his ground to get the better of Aamir in a tie-breaker 8-7 (4). Meanwhile in the women’s section.
