The Bangalore Food Truck Association, along with BMRCL, is organising a month-long food truck festival, ‘Food Truck Street Fiesta’, from March 4, 11 am to 11 pm, at Swamy Vivekananda Metro Station, Old Madras Road, adjacent to Indiranagar 100ft Road.  It will be held on every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

There will be 20 trucks serving different kinds of cuisines, including Chinese, Anglo-Indian, Lebanese, Continental, French, Mexican and American. Among the many food trucks is ‘Cafe Road Kill’ by Varun Srikanth which will serve authentic Anglo-Indian cuisine along with continental delights. “What makes our preparations lip-smacking are the homemade blends and spices that we add to the traditional approach of food-making. Every food truck participating in the festival is unique in its flavour. Effort has been made to offer variety,” explains Varun, who is also one of the coordinators of the festival.

The other food trucks that will be a part of the festival are ‘The Rolling Chef’ serving Indo-Chinese food, ‘The Bite Club’ offering authentic Goan and continental dishes, ‘Foodipa’ offering chats and North-Indian delicacies, ‘Sticksnax’ that specialises in all kinds of snacks and ‘Food Springs’ offers unique varieties in Indo-Chinese. Entry is free.
