The Heavy Industries Ministry, on Wednesday, pitched in for the auto industry asking Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee to continue with the stimulus package provided to the sector during the slowdown.
Briefing reporters Heavy Industries Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh said “For auto industry we requested that the stimulus for the sector should be continued for some more time.” Similarly, industry players have also demanded for the same as they believe that the industry is not out of the woods yet.
