MRG Group plans to foray into North India

 Bengaluru-based MRG Group has announced its foray into North India with an investment corpus of Rs 100 crore to establish its hotel and restaurant business.

As a first step towards its plans, it has established its first coastal cuisine restaurant—Sana-Di-Ge in New Delhi. “The land locked Delhi and the Northern hinterland has a substantial appetite for coastal cuisine and we intend to cater to this eating out business,” said Prakash Shetty, founder chairman of MRG Group.

Sana Di Ge launched in New Delhi on Saturday and specialises in cuisine from the coastal belt of Karnataka. The restaurant is located at Malcha Marg and it will serve an eclectic mix of coastal delicacies in authentic setting, the company said in a release.
