VET First Grade College held a fashion show in their premises. It was hosted by the students of BSc Fashion and Apparel Design department. They showcased talents of budding designers — the graduating students — who displayed at least 5 dresses each.

‘La-Moda’ had 11 designers who worked with various themes like black widow spider, architecture, antelope, monochromatic colour scheme, candy, nature, ruffles, cocktails, fuchsia and more.

The chief guests were Nagendra Prasad and Nikitha Narayan. Leela Mohan representing Bangalore University was the judge and evaluator for the programme. It was a very eventful and proud moment. The winning categories were ‘best designer’, which was won by Ramya S N for her theme ‘Antelopes’; ‘best hair style and make up’, which was won by Pawanie Jain for the theme ‘Architecture’; ‘best accessories and props’, which was won by Sridhar for ‘Ruffles’.  The ‘best model hunt’ award went to Rakshitha Raj; ‘overall presentation’ to Supriya for a monochromatic theme and ‘viewer’s choice’ to Sridhar K S for the theme ‘Rose’.
