Addressing a press conference here, he said that the first phase of protest was already carried out by former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda. In the second phase, protest will be organised and a memorandum will be submitted to the Deputy Commissioner.
A protest rally will be taken out from Old Taluk Office in association with the members of CPI and Dalit Sangharsha Samiti, he added. Government should denotify all acquisition notifications in Kadur Taluk and should stop acqusition of agriculture land, Rajendra warned.
District General Secretary H H Devaraj, Vice-President Manjappa, Organising Secretary Krishnegowda and Scheduled Caste and Tribe Leader Hampaiah were present.
