<p> The deceased is Anand Rao (63), a resident of Gujjarakere region. It all happened when Palemar decided to visit Gujjarakere tank after holding an official meeting at the Deputy Commissioner’s office. <br /><br />As the officials and minister arrived at the spot, a few members of the public explained the problems of the region and Rao too was one among them. Apparently, Rao was too happy that the tank is being rejuvenated. <br /><br />“If not for me, at least for the future generation, the revival of tank will help,” he had reportedly told the minister. Minutes later, he collapsed reportedly due to a massive heart attack. Even before he was shifted to hospital, he died.</p>
