II PU paper leak: 1 more held

The Criminal Investigation Department sleuths on Tuesday arrested one of the prime suspects of II PU Chemistry Queston paper leak racket. The suspect was identified as Kiran alias Kumarswamy, a close relative of the mastermind Shivakumaraiah. Another prime suspect in the racket Shivakumaraiah’s son Dinesh is still at large and the police are searching for him, said the CID officers.

On a tip-off, the cops raided a farm house at Yelahanka and arrested him, added the police.
Kiran, an LIC agent, would receive question papers from Shivakumaraiah and then distribute to lecturers and parents for huge sums. He had developed his own circle which included a few lecturers of unaided institutions who also work as LIC agents, said the police.

The police said that Kiran was actively involved in question paper leak and sale for the last two years, added the
police.
