The High Court on Tuesday ordered issue of notice to chief secretary in connection with the writ petition seeking disqualification of Home Minister G Parameshwara for holding office of profit.
Justice S Abdul Nazeer ordered issuance of notice to after hearing the petition filed by Shashidhar, President of Akhila Karnataka Police Maha Sangha. The petitioner had contended that Parameshwara was getting funds from state and central government as the chairman of Siddhartha Education Society besides being an MLC, a minister and also president of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee.
