'Mela' for a cause

The association is about 40-years-old and is run by a few women residing in Vasanthnagar. It is dedicated to causes like tree planting, literary campaign, health, hygiene, counselling and regularly caters to the needy students for education. Mela is a  a fund-raising programme they have been holding for the last two years.

It is an attempt to create a platform for the needy women entrepreneurs. The proceeds of this goes to the student loan scheme for higher education and scholarship for the school children.

This year the ‘Mela’ will be held at Bharatiya Public School, 7th Cross, Opposite Vasanthnagar Post Office. For details, call 22265763.
