A ten-wicket haul for the match by Vinu Prasad set up Cambridge Cricket Club’s eight-wicket victory over Jawahar Sports Club (2) in the KSCA, Group I, Division II league for the Sri MAT Acharya Shield here.

Vinu’s 5/24 helped Cambridge bundle out Jawahar SC for a paltry 103 in 36.5 overs. The Cambridge batsmen, powered by half-centuries from Rajoo Bhatkal (68) and Rahul Vernekar (61), then posted 251/6 declared in 68.3 overs, gaining a healthy first innings lead of 148 runs.
