Traffic police seized 370 autorickshaws for refusing to go on hire and demanding excess fare during a drive conducted in Majestic, City Market and City Railway Station on Monday.
“There were several complaints from passengers at the railway station against autorickshaw drivers. Traffic police in mufti caught 370 auto drivers during the drive that started around 6.30 am. A total of 100 cases have been booked in Chickpet police limits alone,” a police officer said.
