<p>The state government will explore setting up an industry-government partnership entity, which can provide and promote a host of services under the Invest Karnataka brand, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said on Wednesday. <br /><br /></p>.<p>He was speaking after inaugurating the FKCCI Centenary Conference ‘Karnataka - A pioneer in Make in India, Startup India and Digital India- Way forward’. He said Karnataka is being put on a high growth trajectory. “Our focus is to ensure economic growth for each and every person in the state. Our goal is to make our state highly prosperous.”<br /><br />The chief minister said Bengaluru is the only Indian city to be ranked among the 20 best startup eco-systems in the world, as per the Global Startup Ecosystem Ranking Report 2015. Bengaluru is now home to 4,000 active tech startups.<br /><br />The government has granted Rs 10 crore to FKCCI, for the construction of a centenary auditorium. The auditorium shall be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including meeting rooms, auditorium, translation facilities, cafeteria. The facility shall host national and international events. <br /><br />R V Deshpande, Minister for Medium and Large Industries, said if the goods and services tax (GST) bill is passed in the ensuing parliament session, it is good for the entire country.</p>
