Ramesh Jigajinagi, the BJP Lok Sabha member from the Vijayapura constituency, left for New Delhi on Monday, as per the directions of party president Amit Shah.
He is expected to be inducted into the Narendra Modi ministry on Tuesday. Jigajinagi told Deccan Herald that he would fly to the national capital and meet Shah there in the evening.
He said he would fulfil any responsibility given to him, to the best of his abilities.
