Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik has sent a special report to President Pranab Mukherjee about the Mathura violence, mass exodus of Hindu families from Kairana and last year's public lynching of a Muslim man in Dadri.
According to sources here on Sunday, Naik sent the report to the President on Saturday.
Sources said that the governor had sought a report from the state government on all three incidents. The state government gave its report to Naik around a fortnight back. Naik had criticised the state government for its handling of Mathura violence, Kairana exodus and Dadri lynching and made it clear that he would be sending a report to the president on these incidents.
As many as 32 people, including two senior police officers, were killed in a clash between members of a cult and cops at Jawahar Bagh Park in Mathura last month.
