Last Updated 11 July 2016, 18:41 IST
With the onset of monsoon, the landscape of drought-prone region of Guledagudda in Bagalkot district turns vibrant with greenery all around. Many small streams and waterfalls spring to life in this season, attracting people from near and far. Benne Didugu is one such waterfall that starts pouring down in monsoon.

In July, the waterfall makes for a majestic sight amidst a beautiful panoramic spread. The waterfall is about three km from Guledagudda and the water pours down from a height of about 35 feet. The place with its pristine surroundings is a favourite site for local people, particularly youth, but has remained largely unknown for tourists from other places.

There are two routes from Guledagudda town to this place. Trekkers can cross a hill and a valley near the Mookeshwari Temple to reach the place. The other route has a motorable road for a short distance after which visitors have to trek.
