Moily decries non-utilisation of classical tag benefits

Addressing mediapersons at travellers bungalow in Solur in   Ramanagara district on Monday, he said the government is yet to provide details of projects to be taken up under the classical status tag to the Central government.

While Andhra Pradesh government has formed a task force, the State government seems to be content in issuing only statements on benefits of classical status, he decried.
The State government should prepare a report from the language experts and send it to the Union government to be able to receive funds under the tag, he observed.
Former minister Anjanamurthy, Dr M Shankar Naika and H M Revanna were present.
