National award for tourism

The state department of Tourism has been declared the third best state in comprehensive development of tourism by the Union Ministry of Tourism.

Priyank Kharge, Minister for IT, BT and Tourism along with Dr N Manjula, Director, Department of Tourism, received the “3rd place for the Best State/UT in Comprehensive Development of Tourism” award on behalf of the state from Sumitra Mahajan, Lok Sabha Speaker, and Mahesh Sharma, Union Minister of State for Tourism (Independent Charge), in New Delhi recently, according to an official release.
