Lochan spurs Social Cricketers

Lochan Appanna scored 91 to power Social Cricketers to a four-wicket win over Friends Union Cricket Club (1) in the KSCA Group I, Division I, II & III under-19 tournament.

Friends Union rode on a 76 from Shivakumar to post 187/9 in 47 overs in a match that was delayed due to wet outfield. Rohit (2/41) and Amay (2/19) grabbed two wickets apiece for Social Cricketers.

Lochan then hit 91 as Social Cricketers chased down the target in 39.2 overs. In another game a fine bowling performance from Jawahar Sports Club (2) saw them clinch a narrow seven-run win over  Young Lions Club.  Jawahar SC scored 143/9 and bundled out Young Lions for 136.

Match was reduced to 27 overs per side due to overnight rain; Due to interruption of rain again, the target was reduced to 163 in 25 overs.
