The counter was a splash of colours as the bartender swiftly mixed drink after drink. Bright yellow, flaming red and deep orange hues were a feast for the eyes.

‘Hard Rock Cafe’ is serving up a new menu that embraces the hottest global ethnic street flavours. The menu, ‘Smoke fire and spice’, draws inspiration from the spices, seasonings
and sauces of popular street foods found around the world including Asia, Africa and Latin America.

As Bengalureans gear up to tease their palate with the finest of international flavours, food fests like these are a testimony to the fact that the trend of fusing ethnic flavours is widely gaining prominence today and people have actually developed a fondness towards it. The ‘Smoke fire and spice’ menu aims to appease the evolving palates of the global Indian and take them on a culinary sojourn with the new festival.

As part of the new menu, it has developed a variety of speciality rubs, seasonings and sauces that guests will be able to pair with their choice of chicken, shrimp or cottage cheese.

Each protein will be served on a sizzling skillet accompanied by a ‘naan’ bread, a marinated salad mix, roasted vegetables, mixed cheeses and complimentary dipping sauces. The sauces include options like Charmoula from North Africa, Harissa from Morocco, Chimichurri from Latin America, Satay from Thailand, Piripiri from South Africa and Chipotle.

These combinations are mix of parsley, cilantro, pepper, caraway seeds and many more exotic items which serve to give a spicy flavour. Additionally, ‘Hard Rock Cafe’ will offer a limited-edition assorted vegetarian and non-vegetarian platters.
