Chasing a dream

Being the son of a politician didn’t alter Sachin’s dream of wanting to become an actor.

His debut film, ‘Happy Birthday’, where he essays the role of a romantic, has hit the screens and promises to be a thorough entertainer.

He portrays an irresponsible young man whose life undergoes a transformation after a woman enters his life. The role of the heroine is essayed by Samskruthy

Sachin says it’s not just a plain love story but one that is packed with loads of action and comedy.

“There are three interesting action scenes in the movie. One of them is an auto chase and the other two have been shot in an interesting format which must be seen to be believed. What makes the action sequences truly different is the way it has been shot,” explains Sachin.

He says his parents gave him the freedom to do whatever he wanted to.
“Being a son of a politician didn’t mean that I had to get into politics. My parents stood by me and gave me the liberty to choose what I want to do,” he says.

Sachin says working on his first film was a wonderful learning experience because it not only gave him an insight into what comprises filmmaking but also served as a perfect training ground.

“I always wanted my debut to be a complete package and not just a film where the hero hogs the limelight. The team work is evident throughout the film,” he adds.

Sachin says his strength is that he is open to criticism and more than willing to learn. “I don’t believe in reproducing or copying what already exists. I want to pull my experience together and deliver something original and new,” he says.

He says that he is also not the one to get bogged down by failures.
“I believe one becomes stronger when one fails. I’ve just begun my career and hope to improve as an actor and entertain people even more,” he says.

Sachin has started getting a few offers and has begun listening to a few scripts
but he’s yet to sign on the dotted line.
