Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council K S Eshwarappa has said that one of the objectives of Sangolli Rayanna Brigade is to ensure that B S Yeddyurappa becomes the next chief minister of Karnataka.
Speaking at a meeting to review preparations for the launch of the brigade in Haveri on Friday, Eshwarappa said that strengthening the BJP and educational, social and financial empowerment of Dalits and backward classes are the other objectives of the brigade.
“It is true that there is some difference of opinion between the BJP leaders of rural and urban areas. But, our party is like a family and we will sort out the issues by sitting across the table,” Eshwarappa said.
