<p> Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has convened a meeting of Congress legislators from Bengaluru on Saturday morning to discuss about the demolition drive by the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The meeting has been convened to apprise the legislators on the drive which has created a lot of resentment among people, especially those who have constructed houses on rajakaluves. Senior officers of the BBMP will also attend the meeting to be chaired by the chief minister.<br /><br />The MLAs had been reportedly complaining that they were not taken into confidence before launching the demolition drive. <br /><br />Besides, AICC general secretary incharge of Karnataka Digvijaya Singh is scheduled to arrive in Bengaluru on Saturday on a private visit. <br /><br />He is expected to arrive at 5.30 pm and likely to leave for Delhi late in the evening, sources in the Congress said.<br /><br /></p>
