Yenepoya schoolkids from Mangaluru win Verbattle 2016 in junior category

 'Verbattle-2016', which was organised by Verbattle in association with Prajavani Sahapati, concluded in the city on Friday. The results of the final round of the event were announced.

In the Juniors category, Azaan Ibrahim and Mansha Ashraf from Yenepoya English Medium School from the Mangaluru Zone were declared the winners. Sishu Griha Montessori and High School students from Bengaluru Zone stood in the second position and those from Vidyashilp Academy, Bengaluru Zone stood third.

Meanwhile, in the Seniors Category, Atul Lakshman and Sai Shakthi from Bangalore Institute of Legal Studies, stood first while those from Delhi Public School (East) stood second and Royale Concorde International School stood third. All three schools are from Bengaluru Zone.
In the Kannada Category, Surabhi and Anusha of the Kalpataru Central School, Bengaluru Zone were declared the winners. Chandana English Medium High School (Hubballi Zone) and Kalpatharu Central School (Bengaluru Zone) stood second and third respectively.

In the Beginners Category, all three finalists were from Vidyashilp Academy. The winners were Amav V G and Zayaan. They were mentored by Angel Rupa.

In the Mentor Teacher category, Angel Rupa of the Vidyashilp Academy, Bengaluru, Maria Susainathan, Yenapoya School, Mangaluru and Manjunath T N, Kalpataru Central School, Tiptur were announced the winners.

Winners of the Junior Category were given a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, seniors Rs 50,000, beginners Rs 30,000 and Kannada Rs 20,000.
