JOIN USA 29-year-old homemaker was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her house in Milk Street in Ulsoor on Wednesday night.
According to the police, Supritha was found dead with her throat slit. She was married to Raviraj, 31, an employee in the cargo section at the Kempegowda International Airport. They are the natives of Kundapura and were married around six years ago. They have a five-year-old daughter.
On Wednesday night, Raviraj returned home from work and found his wife lying in a pool of blood with her throat slit. He alerted the Ulsoor police, who visited the spot and shifted the body for postmortem.
Raviraj told police that their daughter was playing in the bedroom and his wife was found dead in the drawing room. It is suspected that she might have committed suicide. But Supritha's mother, who came from Kundapura, claimed that the couple was found fighting over petty issues and Raviraj might have killed her, the police added. Based on a complaint filed by Supritha's mother, Raviraj has been detained and is being questioned.
