'Grant Rs 35.5 cr for development works'

The Union Minister had made a visit to Chikkaballapur to take part in the victory celebrations.

For the development of roads in the newly developed layout Rs 10 crore will be required, while Rs 5 crore will be needed for providing basic amenities, Rs 1 crore for installing high-mast lamps etc, explained Prakash.

Though Chikkaballapur is a district centre its development has been handicapped. There are no provision of basic amenities in the district.

 Thus, the  minister from the region should contribute and encourage the development of Chikkaballapur, appealed the CMC president.
