Driving classes for minorities

The applicants must be permanent residents of the State and belong to minority (Muslim, Christian, Jain, Buddhist, Parsi or Anglo Indian) communities. They must be in the age group of 18 to 40 years, with a pass in SSLC. The prescribed application format is available with the District Manager, Karnataka Minorities Development Corporation, Zilla Panchayat office premises, First Block, First Floor, Kolar, within March 15.

Similarly, the Apparel Training and Design Centre is offering free training for minority community students in electric-operated sewing machines. The candidates must have passed eighth standard. The Centre will assist in securing a job on successful completion of the training.
