Two in fray for PLD Bank election in Kalasa

Martin D’Souza, who was the director of the Bank representing Kalasa and Samse villages for the past three terms, is aspiring to enter the Board of Directors again with the support of Congress from Kalasa constituency.

A V Narasimhamoorthi, who has BJP support, too is in fray. The election will be held at Mudigere on March 21. Out of the 81 voters in the list, 10 are dead. Hence, 71 members will decide future of the candidates. Both the candidates have launched door-to-door campaign.

Congress supported candidate Devaramane Prakash Hegde and Nagesh Gowda are in fray in another constituency, which include Horanadu, Thotadooru and Hirebailu villages. A total of 52 members have the voting rights in the constituency.
