United School triumphs in Hassan leg of Prajavani Quiz Championships

The divisional-level inter-school Prajavani Quiz Championship here on Thursday received an overwhelming response from the schoolchildren of Hassan and Chikkamagaluru districts.

Around 480 students from 81 schools from the twin districts vied for top honours in the event which saw some stiff competition, at Hasanamba Kalakshetra.

Quiz master, Raghav Chakravarthy conducted the competition. Even parents participated with excitement in the programme, answering to some tricky questions.

Aditya and Anoop of United School, Hassan, emerged as the winners of the Hassan-leg of Prajavani quiz championship. The duo walked away with cash prize and a trophy. Certificates were issued to all the participants.

Hassan City Municipal Council president H S Anil Kumar gave away the prizes to the winners. Assistant Commissioner H L Nagaraj, Sujala College secretary Lokesh, TPML general manager (circulation) Oliver Leslie, brand strategy development manager Harshavardhan and senior manager Jagannath Jois were present.
