The East Division police on Friday arrested one more person in connection with the Kammanahalli molestation case. With this, the total number of arrests made in the case has gone up to five.
The arrested has been identified as James, a delivery boy, who was part of the six-member gang which molested a girl in the wee hours of the New Year’s day. Two scooters have been seized from him. Police said that James was hiding in his relative’s house.
Meanwhile, the four youth arrested in connection with the case have been remanded in to five-day police custody. A senior police officer said that the victim will have to formally identify the culprits during an identification parade.
