BFlat will present a performance by ‘Kefaya’ (world jazz-London) on January 13, 9 pm onwards, in its premises in Indiranagar.

It will feature Giuliano Modarelli on guitar, Al MacSween on keyboard and electronics, Domenico Angarano on bass and Joost Hendrickx on drums.

Arabic for ‘enough’, ‘Kefaya’ is both a rallying-cry of the Arab Spring movements and an international music collective led and founded by London-based musicians and producers, Giuliano Modarelli and Al MacSween.

The group, whose music is a diverse cross-cultural collaboration, draws on political folk songs and anthems, and has been self-styled; as one that organically combines electronic production and virtuosic improvisation with influences spanning across Europe, India and Africa to the Caribbean and the Middle East. Tuned in to the struggle for equality and liberation, their new album ‘Radio International’ broadcasts stories of migration, tales of musical encounters and sounds of resistance.
Tickets are available at the venue and on www.bookmyshow.com
