<p>A 46-year-old labourer was killed in a collision between two two-wheelers on Varthur Main Road on Saturday evening.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The deceased identified as Kamal Burman was a resident of Varthur and a native of West Bengal. Burman was riding back home around 4.15 pm, when the incident took place.<br />Police said Burman was drunk and hit the bike coming in the opposite direction in a bid to overtake a car. <br /><br />The other biker suffered minor injuries.<br /><br />Passersby shifted Burman to a nearby private hospital but he was declared brought dead. Doctors confirmed that Burman had consumed alcohol beyond the permissible limit, added the police. <br /><br />A case has been registered at HSR Layout police station.<br /><br /></p>
