<p>The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has dismantled a portion of the wall at the entrance of the pedestrian subway on Nrupathunga Road to build an RCC roof there. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The civic body took the decision as the fibre sheet roof was repeatedly stolen. It will now build a new wall and fix the RCC slab over it. The subway, which acts as a divider between the road and the bus stop, was built in 2009 at a cost of Rs 60 lakh and was inaugurated by then chief minister B S Yeddyurappa. <br /></p>
