JOIN USTata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced the appointment of V Ramakrishnan (Ramki) as chief financial officer.
Ramakrishnan takes over from Rajesh Gopinathan, who has been appointed as the chief executive officer and managing director of TCS.
Ramki joined TCS Finance in 1999, and served as the finance head of TCS North America for seven years.
Ramki closely partnered with business in the rapid growth of TCS’ operations in the region. Most recently, he has been responsible for the financial controllership of TCS subsidiaries and branches globally and various merger and acquisitions integration initiatives, TCS said.
Meanwhile, Rajesh Gopinathan has been appointed as the managing director on the board of TCS. The appointment has been made as Rajesh will take over as the CEO from N Chandrasekaran from February 21.
The company has also announced the appointment of chief operating officer (COO) N Ganapathy Subramaniam as the Executive Director on the board.
