Many senior ministers are learnt to have complained to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah against Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president G Parameshwara for reportedly creating confusion in the government.

Sources in the Congress said the ministers are upset over a draft agenda prepared for the KPCC co-ordination committee meeting held on Sunday. The agenda had listed revamping of the council of ministers as a subject.

The ministers are of the view that the draft agenda was prepared at the behest of Parameshwara. The agenda was, however, later dropped.

Parameshwara, who is also the home minister, had openly said that senior ministers should be ready to give up their posts and work for the party organisation ahead of the 2018 Assembly polls.

The KPCC chief had plans to drop about 20 ministers and use their service for the party organisation.

However, Parameshwara had so far not said that he had prepared the agenda. Siddaramaiah, however, told reporters after the coordination committee meeting that there was no such proposal.
