<div align="justify">The Congress leaders from Tumakuru district on Thursday demanded that G Parameshwara should be allowed to continue as KPCC president till 2018 Assembly polls. <br /><br />Party MLAs, K N Rajanna and Rafiq Ahmad, Tumakuru MP Mudduhanumegowda and former legislator Venkataramanappa said in a joint press conference that the party should face the next assembly elections under the leadership of Parameshwara and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. <br /><br />The chief minister has fulfilled almost all the promises made by the party during the 2013 Assembly polls. <br /><br />The state Congress president chief has organised the party successfully ever since he was given the responsibility of leading the party in the state. <br /><br />A delegation of state party leaders will soon meet the high command in Delhi and urge it to allow Parameshwara to continue as the KPCC president, Rajanna said. <br /></div>
