The alliance will enable the firm to combine UFO Moviez’ digitisation technology with its programming expertise and digital cinema experience, the company said.
Under the pact, UFO would set up an additional encoding and encryption facility at Reliance MediaWorks’ premises, while business engagements with the producers and distributors for this facility would be undertaken by the latter.
Further, Reliance MediaWorks said it is looking at undertaking 15 movie digitisation projects on a weekly basis.
