Forwarding the memorandum to Zilla Panchayat CEO D Pranesh Rao on the occasion, Vice President Venkatesh Kone urged for immediate reinforcement of the welfare programmes announced by the government to the Gram Panchayat employees. Facilities like provident funds, dearness allowances should be made available to the employees. The pending revised salary along with dearness allowances should be announced immediately, he added.
Honorary President Rajiv Padukone, Sanjeev Thekatte, Narayana Beejadi, Suresh Kumar Shetty, Shekar Marvanthe and others were present.
