<p>The high court has granted stay on the proceedings against N Balasubramanya, superintending engineer of Karnataka Rural Infrastructure Development Limited (KRIDL). <br /><br />The engineer has approached the court, seeking quashing of the show-cause notice issued by BMTF with regard to misappropriation of funds to the tune of Rs 842 crore between 2013 and 2016 in KR Puram constituency. <br /><br />Balasubramanya has contended that BMTF does not have the authority to conduct an enquiry into the work of KRIDL. <br /><br />He has said that the entire work carried out by KRIDL is under the direct supervision <br />of BBMP. Justice A S Bopanna granted stay on the BMTF proceedings and ordered notice to the government and BMTF.<br /><br /></p>
