KPCC chief refuses to comment on SMK's remark

State Congress party president G Parameshwara on Saturday refused to comment on former chief minister S M Krishna’s criticism about the Congress.

“S M Krishna is a senior leader. Hence, I don’t want to comment on his statement. The party is strong and will retain power in 2018 Assembly elections as well, due to its programmes focusing on social justice,” he told reporters.

Talking about Krishna’s decision to campaign for Nanjangud and Gundlupet bypolls, Parameshwara said, “Krishna has joined the BJP and has to campaign for the party. BJP will do their work and we will do ours. “Ultimately, people will have to decide.”
