<p>Amid series of development in the ruling AIADMK in Tamil Nadu, the Opposition DMK led by its working president M K Stalin today met Assembly Speaker Dhanapal at the Secretariat and demanded him to convene budget session of house immeditely for looking into various issues related to the State.<br /> <br />The first interim assembly session of the Edappadi K Palaniswami government, which had won the trust vote House on February 18, began on March 15 with Finance Minister D Jayakumar presented the budget papers.<br /> <br />Though the brief Assembly session was over in few days the demands for grants to various departments was expected to take up in the House after R K Nagar Assembly by-polls.<br /> <br />After meeting the speaker, Stalin said, "I have asked the Speaker to convene the Assembly immediately to discuss farmers protest in Delhi and other issues with pertain to the State." <br /></p>
