Men’s ethnic wear brand ‘Manyavar’ has launched their new campaign ‘Wear a Kurta this Sunday’. Featuring Manyavar’s brand ambassador and popular cricketer Virat Kohli, the campaign brings forth the message that a Sunday is not just a holiday but an occasion that you spend with your loved ones; your time with them, no matter what you do, is valuable because even doing nothing with them feels like doing a lot. The ad film has started playing in multiplexes from April 28.

Commenting on the occasion, Shilpi Modi, director, Manyavar, said, “We are delighted to launch our Sunday Campaign through which we want to encourage people to celebrate Sundays as an occasion with their loved ones. Virat Kohli is one of the most respected and popular faces in the country and we are positive that people will enjoy watching him in the ad as well as relate to the message that we are communicating through this campaign.”

The ad features Virat in a coral red kurta which is part of Manyavar’s ‘Summer Cotton Collection’.

He is seen casually going about his day while talking about how he loves to spend his Sundays with his loved ones doing nothing. Commenting on the campaign, Virat Kohli, brand ambassador, Manyavar, said, “Sundays fly. ‘Kuch na kuch hota hai’. But sometimes doing nothing with your loved ones means a lot more than having big plans. Loved the idea and hope to do ‘kuch nai’ on Sundays.”

The idea is that spending quality time with family, just hanging out aimlessly with friends or pursuing a random hobby might seem like nothing, but it is more satisfying than having a big ‘happening’ Sunday.

And Manyavar aims to be Sunday wear for doing some meaningful ‘nothing’.
