JOIN USAbhimanyu Singh, who got acclaim with his power packed performances in 'Gulaal' (2009) and 'Ram Leela' (2013), narrowly missed an accident while shooting for the bilingual flick 'Dheeran Athigaram Ondru', being shot across Tamil Nadu and Jaisalmer in Rajasthan.
Reportedly, a scene in the film involves the actor racing on a horse. But while shooting the scene the person manning the horse tripped and fell down and the horse took off, with Abhimanyu on top.
This shocked the whole crew as the actor did not know horse riding. It was only after covering some distance that Abhimanyu figured out how to control the horse, and stop it.
Although the whole sequence was dreadful, nevertheless it was captured on camera and will now be used in the film as a perfect shot.
Over the next few days, Singh honed his horse riding skills and was able to manage his shoots without any assistance. He will be seen as a Hindi speaking villain in the upcoming movie.
