Aland MLA to join Congress

Aland MLA, B R Patil, on Tuesday said 12 legislators, including himself, would join the Congress party soon.

Speaking to journalists here, the KJP MLA said seven JD(S) legislators would also switch over to the Congress. He said he had discussed the issue with Digvijaya Singh, who was earlier the AICC general secretary in charge of the state. “The party’s incharge has changed. I will again talk to the new incharge, K C Venugopal, before joining the party.”
