<div align="justify">Mayank Tewari, the elder brother of the Karnataka cadre IAS officer Anurag Tewari who was found dead near a guest house here on May 17, has claimed that he has ‘many facts’, which he will be sharing with the CBI that has been handed over the probe.<br /><br />“I have many facts…..I will share them with the CBI,’’ Mayank said without elaborating.<br /><br />He had earlier alleged that Anurag had told him that he was on the verge of exposing a huge scam in the department of Food and Civil Supplies, where he was posted as commissioner, that could implicate many senior officials in Karnataka.<br /><br />Mayank also asked senior Uttar Pradesh IAS officer Prabhu Narain Singh, who was a batchmate of Anurag, to cooperate in ‘’unraveling’’ the mystery behind his death. Singh, who was vice-chairman of Lucknow Development Authority, was staying in the same room where Anurag had stayed at the government guest house in the state capital.<br /><br />‘’We have full faith in Singh but we want him to come forward and tell them all the facts as they happened,’’ Mayank said. Singh was on Monday quizzed by the police in connection with the case.<br /><br />Mayank also contacted senior Uttar Pradesh IPS officer Amitabh Thakur and sought his support in the fight for justice in this case.<br /><br />Anurag’s body was found lying on the side of the road, a few metres away from the Meerabai Guest House. His postmortem report was inconclusive and the doctors preserved his viscera and heart for further forensic examination to ascertain the cause of death. The death of the IAS officer also triggered a political storm in Uttar Pradesh with the BJP and the Congress getting engaged in sharp exchange of words.</div>
