Sachin treats Team India to biopic

 It was a moment of cheers and emotions as Team India met their icon BharatRatna Sachin Tendulkar and his charming wife Anjali and glued their eyes to a special screening of 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams', the biopic of the master.

The film produced by Ravi Bhagchandka and Carnival Motion Pictures under 200 NotOut Productions is slated to be released on Friday. However, on Thursday, the top run-getter of the world, hosted the team to the special screen before they flew out of India for the  ICC Champions Trophy in England.

Former teammates like MS Dhoni, skipper Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, Ravichandran Ashwin  were among those who attended the event along with post-Tendulkar generation players. The skipper was accompanied by actress Anuskha Sharma. The team and the support staff also had a group photo with the cricketing legend. Besides, players at the red-carpet event also had selfies with the master. All of them had idolised the Master Blaster.

Last week, he also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and brief him about the film and sought his blessings."It is right out there. We have done everything that is possible that is exactly like preparing for the match. You tick all the boxes as far as the preparations are concerned and then go out there and give your best and that is exactly what we have done here. We felt that we should do it from our heart and try and be as genuine and real as possible. The whole film is about my real journey so there are no fictional bits and pieces added her. My whole life has been in front of the world. Yes we have included few things that are really private and personal, family moments," Tendulkar, a Rajya Sabha MP had said about the film a few days ago.

Added Tendukar: "So we have added that and people will get to se that but to be able to relive the journey is special for me. Normally the tendency is to look at the next game and that is what I have always looked at home in my family. I was rather brought up thinking about the next game, let the world talk about the last game so here I was talking about everything that was in the past so it was new thing for me. It was a new experience to be part of this film."

"At the masters premiere a billion dreams all the best  @sachin_rt,"  Yuvraj Singh, who had given some splendid partnerships with the ace batsman, wrote in his Instagram account.

There was also an excitement among the celebrity world about the film. "What are you waiting for? Book your tickets now #2DaysToGo #SachinABillionDreams @sachin_rt," actress Priyanka Chopra had tweeted. " It's the sheer pride you've filled me up with that's manifesting, Sir!  can't wait to see the film !," tweeted actor Ranveer Singh.
